Blackhawks parade and remove google background

The Chicago Blackhawks parade for 2010 will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 11. According to a release from the city's Office of Emergency Management and Communication, the celebratory ticker-tape parade and rally for the Stanley Cup champions will start at the intersection of Wacker Drive and Washington Street. The parade will then proceed east on Washington St. to Michigan Ave., before heading north on Michigan to Wacker Drive.

Jones Beach Air Show

Air Show featuring the United States Navy Blue Angels takes place at Jones Beach as Long Islanders kick off the summer season. The spectacular air show features modern jets and vintage planes. Admission in the 2010 Air Show is free, but there will still be a need to pay $10 for the vehicle use fee each day upon entry to the State Park.

This morning I saw a program about Kristy McNichol on Biography and it was quite interesting. Most people remember her from Family which ran in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was a very successful television show that lasted for five years. McNichol was a highly paid teenage actress and by all accounts a fine one. She made movies and records as well. In her twenties she was diagnosed as being bipolar and later left acting. Today she is retired and due to wise investments and smart business sense has more then enough to support herself without returning to the big, or small, screen. She is 48 now and involved in charity work-she has never married.

It’s an unfortunate situation, and we feel bad for his family, but our hands are tied.” Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is heading to prison. Wayne County Judge David Groner sentenced him to one and half to five years.

Jose Lima DEAD

Jose Lim, former MLB All-Star is dead. first reported by ESPN, and the Los Angeles Dodgers have since confirmed the report. Lima died of a massive heart attack in Los Angeles. He was 37 years old. Lima played for the Detroit Tigers, the Houston Astros, the Kansas City Royals, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Mets during his career. In 1999, while with the Astros, he won 21 games and made the National League All-Star team. His last stop was with the Mets in 2006, when he went 0-4 in four appearances.
